Project Details
The redevelopment of Littleborough Community Primary School and Nursery, in Greater Manchester is funded by the Department for Education as part of their School Rebuilding Programme (SRP). The purpose of this funding programme is to improve the condition of existing school buildings.
The new school building will be two-storeys high, set within a landscaped setting with outdoor play spaces, and there will be a new dedicated car park. It will provide 14 new classrooms, a library, a new sports/assembly hall, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and a 420-place primary school providing 60 places for each year group along with a 26-place nursery.
Advanced Utilities were employed by SES Engineering Services to supply and install new gas, fire hydrant pipework, and mains cold water to the new building including live connections to existing services to minimise any disruption to the buildings in use. We also completed the supply and installation of pre-insulated plastic pipework for the delivery of hot water and heating respectively.
